Pelo Loco Welcomes Jessica our Spa Director.

Jessica started her career as a Makeup Artist in Toronto Ontario, she soon realized that when skin is healthy, balanced with a smooth texture it doesn't matter what your wearing,  you are radiant and beautiful.  At that moment the pursuit of beautiful healthy skin was born.

Jessica herself suffered from infancy with dermatitis, eczema and acne.  She know first hand the demoralizing effects of bad skin and how it eats away at your self esteem.  Therefore  her personal mission in life is to help and offer guidance to anyone who wants the best possible skin for themselves and help reversing the signs of aging and damage.  She has spent over 18  years doing clinical facial care looking for the best possible treatments from around the world and never stops in her pursuit  to offer new and improved treatments and technology.

Graduating from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario she received diplomas in Professional Makeup Artistry, Advanced Esthetics and Advanced Specialized Therapeutic Facial and Body Treatments.

When in Toronto she never missed an opportunity to attend and participate in seminars and classes in skin care and nails and salon business and client care.  There in Toronto, Jessica created the Customer Satisfacton System used by salon and spa today to ensure customers are treated fairly and with respect in our industry.

Being the ever enthusiatic and positive person she is Jessica worked full time at Paul Phelan & Perry an international advertising and marketing firm and full time in downtown area spa the Esthetics Clinic.  There she was mentored by industry leader Peter Volny to become the juggernaut in salon and spa operations and advanced esthetics.

Jessica moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1995 and always looking to improve and advance her career and education took reflexology graduating from the Reflexology Association in 1996 and becoming a licenced hairstylist in 1997, graduating from Hairstory Beauty College in 1996 with honors.

The founder and principle of Hairstory Beauty College, Jackie Cole seeing  the great accomplishments that Jessica has acheived so far demanded Jessica's expertise in developing an esthetics program for her school.  Jessica loves a challenge and opportunity and set to work to write the ciriculum, got the esthetics department certified through apprenticeship and training, set up the school, taught the first years students and trained the new teacher.

In 1999, Jessica was ready to create a salon/spa As You Like It Salon and Spa.   Working with her personal mission statement of advanced skin care she offered a full array of skin care services and hair care.  She is proud to have trained some one the leading esthetician here in Winipeg.  Where as esthetics is a very serious profession, she loved hair styling as it is a fun and creative way of expression.

In 2004 she sold her successful salon /spa to pursue her next project salon marketing and teaching procedures and business seminars for professionals.  Advanced Skin Care - Discoving the Best Treatment

She also is a Nuturmed Holistic Skin Care Educator and a Law of Attraction Coach specializing in prosperity classes. 

Jessica's generosity is insurmountable both participating and leading many local and national events and organizations.  Jessica believes that one indivual can make a difference in a community.  Helping people holds the key to a better life for all.

Jessica loves to write her own ads and commericals.  She prefers to do her radio spots live especially with our great radio personality Don Percy.  Jessica has worked with the late great Gary Big Daddy MaClean on many promotions around the city and on a few occasions invited to co-host a radio show with Gary and Burton Cummings.  Jessica has done interviews with the A-Channel, Winnipeg Sun, Winnipeg Free Press, Can Star, KY58, 92 City  and the Toronto Sun.  Jessica personally beleives not the business but the person and the relationship is what is important. 

Jessica's clientele continue to follow her from around the country.  They know that with her knowledge and expertise they will receive the best possible treatments and the most beneficial services.  As spa director they love the fact the the spa staff are well trained and knowledgable about our products and services. With any concern they know it will be handled with the up-most professionalism and care possible.   For the last year Jessica has completed her Medi Spa Skin Care Diploma.  She has received advanced training in  microdermabrasion, photrejuvenation therapy (non-surgical facelifts) and Herbal and Chemical Peels.   She is extremly excited to be offering Advanced skin care and Medi Spa Services to her long list of skills and acheivements to Pelo Loco Salon and Spa.
